Funny Bomb Kill (FBK) is looking for a Live Sound Engineer — the other half of the audio crew.
The DJ makes the show feel big. You make sure everybody in the room — and everybody watching later — hears every single word.
Stand-up comedy lives or dies on intelligibility. A joke that's muddy is a joke that's dead.
THE JOB
Our regular Sunday show runs 7:00 PM — ~9:00 PM, with roughly 30 minutes of pre-show before cameras roll.
You own the mix:
- —Mic levels for the host and comedians — fast, clean handoffs between sets.
- —The house mix and the recording feed — two outputs, both clean.
- —Feedback kills and problem frequencies in a live room.
- —Pre-show soundcheck and gear checks.
- —Working with the DJ and host on every audio cue.
WHO WE WANT
Someone who:
- —Has ears. You hear a problem starting before it becomes one.
- —Is calm. Live rooms throw surprises. You don't.
- —Understands that in comedy, the voice is the whole show.
- —Wants to help develop the FBK sound from nothing.
If you've got the ears and the calm, the rest is just reps. We practice until it's boring.

This is a separate role from the DJ — but together, you two are the audio department now.
Nobody knows exactly how FBK works yet. Nobody does. We're going to build the system together.
